On Broadway, The King and I has recently won four Tony Awards, a fantastic achievement. On Broadway, the highly-acclaimed production is currently playing to sold-out houses on Broadway, presented by the Lincoln Center Theatre in association with the Ambassador Theatre Group. The King and I is also being presented as part of a wealth of successful national tours for the Ambassador Theatre Group, including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, East is East, Inala and Rocky Horror Show.

It seems news from the musical will break soon, with Ambassador Theatre Group customers invited to sign up to be the first to hear about the potential UK production of The King and I. These signed up customers will also be granted access to priority pre-sale tickets when booking opens and special behind-the-scenes previews. With many new musicals and productions hitting the West End of late, it is no wonder this delightful musical may be waiting for its London transfer.
