Dancewear Central were very pleased to work alongside Chase the Stage Events on 'TalentFest' a new venture into what is set to be one of the most exciting competitions in dance in the UK’s entertainment capital, Blackpool
After a nationwide search of the UK's best performers through regional heats across the country, the final was held on 28th September at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Here at Dancewear Central, we can't imagine life without dancing and we are proud to support a new venture that gives young performers from across the UK an opportunity to flourish in a National competition. TalentFest patron Adam Garcia, believes this is 'a wonderful opportunity for children & adults to realize their potential in the performing Arts.'
Dancewear Central's sponsorship of The Dance Teacher Award 2014 is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting dance teachers who are often responsible for passing on their passion for dance and guiding students threw a hobby that could eventually lead to a career.
When it comes to teaching dance its not just about passing on technique and skills. Dance Teachers make the best role models! They’ve been there after all and were once students themselves. Making the same mistakesa and practicing the same moves! Weather dancing for enjoyment or as a career, Encouraging discipline, focus and commitment - life skills that a dance teacher helps develop and stay with each pupil within everything they do through life, as well as helping someone find the best in themselves.
We work closely with dance teachers and find the one thing they all want for their students is for each and every one of them to succeed!
It was so lovely to be able to acknowledge the hard work and commitment dance teachers put in and judging by the 2000 nominations to find the winner of the Best Dance Teacher Awatd 2014, it is obvious how much dance teachers across the UK are very much appreciated by their students and parents too!
The Talent Fest UK Best Teacher Award 2014 was presented by celebrity guest Joey Essex, on Sunday 28th September at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. The 3 finalists were those with the biggest public vote and they all got the biggest applause of the evening when they were announced and the cheers lifted the roof! A huge well done to all the finalists and many congratulations to our winner Debbie Barrass, who was chosen by an independent panel of judges.
